DO NOT USE GETTINGTON.COM. My credit card was charged by them after attempting and not succeeding to make a purchase through their website (the charges are being disputed). When I called the company to complain, they asked for the last 4 digits of my SS# (which I did not provide) before I was connected to a person. I gave them no information. I also received an info phishing call for the card this morning and have since cancelled the card and have locked down my info.

They sold me garbage so I returned said garbage, not only did they not credit my account for the return but they screwed up my account so bad I can't decipher wtf they did...I still had a small prior balance on the account and was making 2-3 payments over the minimum amount each billing period, yet my account stayed in PAST DUE status? Calling does zero good as they will claim they can't understand you if you have a situation they can't or don't want to handle, & that would be ALL situations.

If you don't speak what they speak you're effectively f&%ked. I got fed up wasting my time and getting no solutions so I explained one last time that they would not get a single thin red GD cent from me unless or until they fixed their mess, and I immediately stopped paying. At least 20-30 times a day, all hours of the day and night, these psychos are blowing up my phone, because that's legal? Obviously, that wasn't going to continue so I filed a complaint with TransUnion directly.

A few days later I received confirmation that they (Gettington) had taken care of all the mistakes they made and corrected the account, except for the fact that they lied, they didn't take care of a MFing thing because they're shady AF.

I immediately re-filed my complaint with TransUnion, then I filed complaints with the BBB, FTC, & CFPB just to be sure. I'm exhausted just writing this, no doubt it's exhausting to read, but not as exhausting as crap "service" from them...

UNPROFESSIONAL REPRESENTATIVES

I called IRT my account just to be hung up on 2 times by Jade, transferred to another representative after requesting to speak to a manager by Jen, and then placed on hold for 6 minutes by Ron just for him to come back and tell me that I have to call back during working hours 8am to 5 pm the following day. Each one of them were very unprofessional and I would like to have a call back by a manager to resolve my issue that was not resolved and feel that the should be reprimanded.

TODAY I WAS GOING TO PLACE A LARGE ORDER OF ITEMS TOTALLING OVER $400.00. THE SHIPPING FEES WERE OVER $125! THAT IS OVER 25 PERCENT OF THE MERCHANDISE ORDER. WHERE IS THERE FEE SCHEDULE FOR SHIPPING LIKE EVERY OTHER CREDIBLE COMPANY I HAVE DEALT WITH. IN ADDITION, I ATTEMPTED TO USE A CODE FOR FREE SHIPPING (WHICH WAS VALID AND USED BY OTHER CONSUMERS) FOR FREE SHIPPING ON PURCHASES OVER $100. IT REFUSED TO ACCEPT THE CODE. Tried to order 2 items from most recent catalog, which touted 30% off "ALL SAHALIE +EVERYTHING ELSE IN THIS CATALOG." Also, free shipping over $49. It was all lies. There was no 30% off on my items, nor free shipping - and shipping is outrageously expensive! Don't do business with these people. It's a scam now, not what Sahalie used to be.

This would direct me to open it... and without missing any payments, they would show a balance overdue when there were none. So, I'd take some time and order a few items, place in cart and into check out. At that point of payment, they tell me 'account closed. I fell for this two or three times over a 9 month period, when I lost my temper and closed my account. Why? I called Cust Service 13 times over 12 months to have that error fixed. Never could they help, once a manager did call back ...but said he could do nothing about these false advertisements .

Tomi from the Executive Offices called me today, and apologized for the error on behalf of Gettington. She honored the promo code, and adjusted the amount to what it should have been.

The $170 was incorrect, because taxes do not get the discount, but I was refunded $163.00, and I am in agreement with that. She will further investigate the situation, and address the employee(s) as necessary.

Thank you Tomi, and thank you Pissed Off Consumer for ensuring that Gettington read this review. So my 2 stars needs to be changed to 5 stars, and my faith in Gettington has been restored.Happy Holidays to All!!!

I ordered a laptop and software, while using a promo code that Gettington offered. The customer service rep offered the items with $170 discount due to the promo code. However, Gettington said the customer service rep made an error, and they billed me for the $170.00. The discount was the reason I went through with the purchase. This is allegedly fraudulent, and not legal for them to do. They think the words, "Sorry for the inconvenience...but..." will make this all better, but they are wrong!!! Gettington is owned by the Bluestem Group that also owns Fingerhut, etc. Be careful shopping at any of the companies they own.

Processing and shipping

Very slow processing and shipping orders out. I was billed a payment for purchases I haven't even received. And they're charging double shipping prices. Will not recommend to anyone.
